Tiny Library Concerts
January 15th, 2019 7:00-9:00PM - Tiny Library Concert, featuring A.J. Fullerton
Raised as an only child in the mountains of rural western Colorado, A.J. was brought up surrounded by styles of music ranging across rock, folk, bluegrass, roots, and blues. After playing solo and in local bands throughout his mid-teens, by age 19 he was playing full-time in a rapidly developing solo career. His style of playing falls somewhere between the finger picking and slide of country roots music and the groove-based uptempo sensibilities of blues and rock ’n’ roll. He is a recent winner of both the Colorado Blues Society’s I.B.C. Competition and the Colorado Blues Society’s Members Choice Awards. Playing 200 to 250 shows a year, A.J. is hailed as “The Real Deal" and is one of the hardest-working young musicians on the scene.

February 12th, 2019 7:00-9:00PM - Tiny Library Concert, featuring Florea and RL Cole
R. L. Cole weaves a retro style with energetic, wild performances. It’s a hard-to-match mix of primitive rock’n’roll, early psychedelic and blues ballads. Spinning tales from desert dreams to sinners in the swamp, Florea’s songs are both sides of the coin: light and dark, lost and found. History Colorado’s Tiny Library Concert series is generously supported by Airshow Mastering and features Colorado musicians in the intimate space of the museum’s Hart Research Library.
